An introduction to Mindfulness

Our Ovio ‘Introduction to Mindfulness’ Workshop is evidence-based, practical and grounded in everyday life examples.

Designed by Cheryl Strawbridge, a scientist with degrees in Biochemistry and Psychology, this course has been making a difference in all types of workplaces for over 10 years now - from hospitals to corporates to our very own Beehive!

Evidence shows mindfulness enhances relationships, performance and wellbeing. It has also been shown to help with a number of health concerns, from repairing sleep to enhancing energy levels – all of which effect performance and culture in the workplace.

It provides an opportunity for attendees to relax, revitalise and connect with colleagues, whilst learning this powerful new life skill to help manage their stress and emotional reactivity and tap into their creativity.

Group workshops available in person and online.

"I ABSOLUTELY LOVED WORKING WITH KRISTY AND HAVING HER PRESENT AT ONE OF BALANCING ACT'S WORKSHOPS. THE WOMEN RAVED ABOUT THE SESSION! KRISTY IS VERY WARM AND RELATABLE AND PROVIDED SOME GREAT IDEAS FOR HOW WE CAN ALL BUILD MINDFULNESS INTO OUR DAILY ROUTINES.

IF YOU ARE LOOKING FOR SOMEONE TO HELP YOU, YOUR EMPLOYEES OR COMMUNITY LIVE A LIFE WITH LESS STRESS AND MORE HAPPINESS, KRISTY IS THE PERFECT MENTOR. IT'S A BONUS THAT HER TIPS ARE SCIENCE BASED TOO! "
